Oreo Puddin' Poke Cake
Ingredients:
1 box chocolate cake mix
Ingredients needed to make cake
2 (4oz) packages of INSTANT oreo pudding
4 cups milk 2% or higher
Crushed oreo cookies (optional)
Directions:
1.Make cake mix according to directions and bake in a well-greased 9x13 pan (I use the nonstick spray that has flour in it)
2. Just before cake is done, start making pudding.
3. In a medium bowl, add milk to pudding mixture and continue to whisk until most of the lumps are removed.
4. Let pudding mixture sit for about 2 minutes.
5. You want it to thicken slightly so it isn't overly runny but not fully thickened into pudding.
6. When cake is finished, while still warm, poke holes all over cake (about 1-inch) intervals using a wooden spoon handle or a straw.
7. Pour pudding mixture over warm cake, making sure to aim for the holes.
8. Spread it out with a spoon and gently push down on the pudding to help get it into the holes.
9. Then put the cake in the refrigerator to allow it to cool completely. About an hour.
10. Once it is set, top with crushed oreo cookies.
11. Keep cake refrigerated.
12. Also, feel free to add whipped topping (Cool Whip) onto the top of the pudding later once the cake has cooled. Then top with crushed cookies.

So excited!!!!!
Well it's been a decent day off. Started off the day by being taken out to breakfast at Cracker Barrel with Aaron, it was delicious! Then spent most of the afternoon sleeping on and off and staying warm in my bed, so comfy :) Ran to the store this afternoon and got things to make homemade pizzas for dinner, they were tasty but I had higher hopes for them to turn out better than what they really did. Oh well, there's always other options to try next time! This evening I spent lots of play time with my babies, it's amazing how much they grow every day. You really have to cherish each and every moment you get with your children <3 Finally found Landen a tub that gives him plenty of room plus fits in the shower, his first time in it was tonight. At first he was unsure but once he warmed up to it he was splashing and having a blast! Next on my to-do list for the up-coming week is to get both boys a haircut, it's long over due! It's back to work tomorrow for another 5 day stretch, let's hope I make some decent tips and the working part of the day flies by, but not TOO fast, lol. Now, onto the best part of my day. I found out this evening that my best friend Peyton and her fiance have set a date for in August to finally tie the knot and I'll be blessed enough to be in the wedding party! Words cannot express how excited I am for her, there is so much planning to be done and I'm looking forward to helping her in any and every way I possibly can. Well I think this is all for tonight's post, until tomorrow night! Goodnight world :)

1st of many
Okay so this is the 1st well 2nd technically, of what I hope to be many posts on my blog. Still, a lot to learn about this whole thing but the important thing is that I know how to at least publish my posts :) With that being said, want to wish my stepfather Dave, a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Was fortunate enough to be off work in time to go to First Wok with him and my mom for his birthday, it was delicious! It was an easy day at work today, 10 rooms with mostly stayovers. Can't complain too much because I at least made a tip! Stopped by Wal-mart to check out their shoe selection for the boys and was able to find a pair for each of the boys, now to see if they actually fit! It'll be Landen's 1st real shoe so I'm pretty excited! The day doesn't bring much more for us today, picking the boys up at 4pm and then we'll be spending the rest of the evening at home where it's warm, relaxing! Crossing my fingers that Cayden had a better day today and still kept up the awesome progress with the potty training!!

January 22nd, 2012
Well here it is, my very 1st post on my blog. I'm not going to say a whole lot on this one tonight, just trying to get the hang of this whole thing and see where everything is at. I really hope to have this be a useful tool and be something to look back on at all of the memories :)
